We provide 1-1 and 2-1 staff to work with children, young people and other referrals.

We operate a 7 day a week service, so that if staff are working on placement there will always be Active SEN staff on call on the day.  This includes all bank holidays including Christmas Day.   Active SEN provides staff direct to support various different kinds of SEN provisions across councils, from their education, social care and SEN/ disabilities teams.  Our staff are all specialists in SEN.  We recommend with all placements that the parent/ guardian interviews staff first before their visit to ensure a good fit.

We can provide staff at very short notice and have our compliance ready for your vetting.  Typically our staff will work at the home of the child referred for support. We do extensive work for SEN day centres and play schemes.  We also provide Virtual School  and Hospital School teaching staff who will work in these settings or residentially.  All staff are paid PAYE to be compliant with IR35.  We provide staff to all age groups and all specialisms, from Horticulture to Waking Nights.

For parents and guardians who would like to use our services and are either self-funding or have already secured support from their local authority we welcome calls.  We will go through your referral carefully and provide CVs within a few hours.  For those self-funding, please note our prices exclude VAT.

We also provide SEN passenger escort staff with PAT training.  We are the main providers for this to some councils and for others we provide an ad hoc service.
